I Have a A1200 with hard drive  on booting up
I get the amiga DOS C:setpatch: Unknown Command
C:Setpatch: failed returncode 10 also System request Error validating work block 415520 bad header type.

Hi Paul,

It sounds like the Setpatch command in your boot drive is either missing or corrupt. Also, judging by the "System request Error validating work block 415520 bad header type" line, your hard drive needs checking for bad/corrupt blocks (quite possibly the place that is corrupting your Setpatch command).

I would recommend using "DiskSalv" (free from Aminet below) to check your hard drive for errors, and after doing so, copy a  new Setpatch command over the old one:
