Amiga Problems/A4000 won't boot

Question
I have an A4000 that I used quite a bit without any problems and 2 years ago I got to busy and left it in my office unplugged.  Well, yesterday I decided to fire it up and nothing.  On power up the screen flashes for a second, the power light come up, the hard drive winds up but the floppy or the hard drive are never accessed and nothings comes up to the screen.
I:
open it up and REMOVED ALL the expansion CARDS and NO CHANGE
removed the HARD DRIVE drive and NO CHANGE
reseated the accelerator card and NO CHANGE
check for battery leaks and the no leaks.  The battery is dead (volt meter reads 0v) which means I needs to replace it but NO LEAKS (no fuss, not even a little something).
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Answer
Hi Eddie,

Do you get any kind of colored screen on boot up? (i.e. not just a black screen?) If the screen is just black, my guess is that there's something wrong with either the hard drive and/or power supply. If the power supply and hard drive check out okay, then it would likely be something on the motherboard other than the main chips/coprocessors (which would result in a colored screen as below):

I hope this helps!
