I had already tried pushing any non surface mounted chips in (Anti static precautions observed)and also tried the computer with just motherboard and daughter board fitted - I assume the disc prompt would normally still appear on the screen in this circumstance? I have checked the output of the power supply and get the 12, 5 and -12v OK. I have also tried a different monitor connected without the genlock and still no joy. I am temporarily getting by with an old A500 but without a hard drive on this I am struggling. I live in Spain but will try the Amiga place you mentioned in your reply. Thanks again and if you come up with any other suggestions please advise me. Robin Lings. | ||

I certainly don't know everything about the Amiga, but having been a user of several different models for about fifteen years, I'm willing to share what I know.
