I have an Amiga A1200 with hd but after I dropped it the picture on the scart went off is it a chip that is Knackered

Hi Chris,

Without looking at it or checking it out in person, it's very difficult to tell exactly what's broken/failing in your Amiga 1200. My first guess is that a connection or wire may be broken somewhere, rather than a chip that's just loose, seeing as most of the chips in the Amiga 1200 are soldered directly to the motherboard, however, if you're comfortable taking it apart and checking for unseated chips, that might be a first step.

Failing that, you could try contacting AmigaKit (www.amigakit.com) in the UK and see if they have a technician that could look at it, or you could look for another used Amiga 1200 on eBay (www.ebay.co.uk) which may well be cheaper in the long run.
