I brought a amiga 500 from a car boot sale, (to remember the good old days) i got it home set it all works great. I get the screen with the hand and the disk, so i tried to load a game the green light comes on the screen goes white then nothing, it goes back to the start screen. Thanks fr you time any help would be nice before i pull out my hair.

Hi Marc,

It sounds like your game diskette is corrupt somehow or is missing the boot data--especially if your Amiga is not reading much of the disk before switching back to the boot screen. If your Amiga loads Workbench fine with other disks or games, then this is definitely the problem. For replacement game or Workbench disks, I would suggest either Software Hut (www.softhut.com) or eBay (www.ebay.com).
