Hi i recently recieved an a600 and basically i know very little about amigas.i tried to load a game treasure island dizzy the game loads but wont let me play i hvae tried pressing all the keyboard buttons.do i need a joystick?.am i loading it wrong.also can games of other amiga versions be played on the a600.thanks a lot for your help.

Hi Tom,

It depends on a lot of factors--did the game come with it's original box? Usually the requirements are labeled on the box. I'm not familiar with the game, so I don't know what kind of requirements it needs. It's a good sign that it's loading, but it may indeed need a joystick. I would suggest trying that first before anything else. You should be able to find joysticks from:

www.ebay.com or www.softhut.com
