i own a A1200HD system which the floppy drive no longer works but it is connected to my PC, i need to reload workbench 3.1 which I own but cant use the disks, is there a way of getting a image of the files on pc that i can transfer to my amiga hard drive to reload it?

Hi Peter,

Unfortunately, I don't know of a way to reinstall your Amiga 1200 using files transferred from your PC, as the installation script is heavily dependent on there being separate diskettes to work properly. The only way I know to reinstall correctly is to get a working external drive. That said, both ebay.com and Software Hut (softhut.com) have them:
