Question
I want to recover some text files lost on a DOS computer due to formatting the disk (in DOS).
I do have access to the HD with linux both from another HD or a live CD (knoppix-STD).
how can I recover the files?

Hi Also,

As much as I would like to say that your files could be recovered, I can't--once a disk has been formatted, the files are unfortunately unrecoverable. I'm sorry I can't provide more information, but my expertise is only with the Amiga, and not the PC...
