I recently got hold of a 2nd hand amiga a 500 plus , it looks like its never been used and the games are all clean , it turns on fine and comes up with a blue screen with a disc going into a disc drive, when i put in any disc it goes blue , the orange disc light comes on for a few second and i can hear it whirring but the the disc screen comes back. Do i have to press anything to load the games or is there a problem?

It's possible that either the internal floppy drive is bad, or that the games are from the OS 1.3 days, and not designed to run on an Amiga with Amiga OS 2.04--which your Amiga 500 Plus obviously has. Do you have a Workbench 2.04 disk that it can boot from to confirm that the internal floppy drive works?
