Hello,

I was just wondering, do you thikn that when she says "are you gay" she means "gay" as homosexual or gay as "cheerful"?

Hi Krystian!!

Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you today. I've been having some computer trouble.

"Boys for Pele" was a CD created after a break up with Eric Rosse, Tori's boyfriend for 7 years. Most of the work on this CD deals with Tori trying to move forward and feeling heartbroken. She called Eric one night and he did not answer. As she sat on the phone listening to it ring, she created this song. "No ones picking up the phone - guess its me and me" "Hey Jupiter" - meaning you are so far away" I think once you put this into
perspective, the rest of the lyrics begin to make sense as well.

With that said, the line "Nothings been the same/are you gay/blue? Thought we both could use a friend to run to" ~ Is not a homosexual reference from Tori's perspective. As fans on the other hand, well then it can be whatever we want it to be!!  :)
