QUESTION: I have a frog that has a swollen left foot(ie hind leg) it has been swolen for 1 1/2 weeks and last evening when I picked him up to check on it two to three bumps that had a pus like substance busted and the white substance came out. He didnt complain as if sore but im still concerned..any help is appreciated

ANSWER: I have never heard of this. Has he been able to jump around ok? Also what are you feeding him? if Live food what because if you are feeding him live crickets they might have something to do with it they could be biting him. You should give him small ones such as pin heads. Also the water could have something to do with it. Are you dechlorinating?

QUESTION: Ok I assume that once I try dechlorinating the water it should help. My major concern is that the other tree frog is the same species and it has shown no symptoms of swelling as did the first frog. It has been in the same tank ate the same type of food and sat in the same water... so as you can see i am a bit baffeled as to why one has it and the other not. I have been using diluted peroxide to treat the open places. Is there any ointment that I can use to help by lil baby heal... I dont want to loose the little frog he's is my buddy

If the other frog is not showing any symptoms then I would take it to your local exotic pet vet. I suggest not using any ointments or diluted peroxide because amphibians absorb everything that comes in contact with them. So once again, I would recommend taking him to your local exotic vet. Hope he will be okay.
