Princess Irulan Corrino is a fictional female character and in the Dune novels created by Frank Herbert.

It is a girl's name.

The series of novels by Frank Herbert became very well kown
and many people have adopted the names of the main characters, among which is the name Irulan.

I use it as a nickname since I do not wish to use my real name here.
