Question
do you know a roman catholic priest who began the reformation ??

Answer
Hello,

actually this question has nothing to do with Roman History as Ancient/Classical History, i.e. with this category.

Your question in fact refers to catholic priests that obviously did not exist in ancient Roman times.

This catholic priest you refer to is Martin Luther (1483 – 1546) who was a German monk, theologian, and church reformer, considered the founder of Protestantism, i.e. the  Reformation which in the 16th-century aimed at reforming some doctrines and practices of the Roman Catholic Church and resulted in the establishment of the Protestant churches.

To conclude, your question should have been asked in the category EUROPEAN HISTORY, for example.

Best regards,
Maria
