Ancient/Classical History/Ancient clay sculpture I found

Question
I found this small sculpture of a greek or roman figure. On the bottom of it
someone wrote "Genuine Egyptian Gold Clay...Circa 1820 b.c.. How can I
confirm if this is authentic or not.

Answer
Hello,
if it's Roman or Greek in appearance, for sure it's not authentic: Egyptian sculpture is rather unique, and doesn't resemble Roman/Greek one at all. And in 1820 b.C. the Romans and Greeks didn't produce yet the kind of "classical" sculptures we are used to.
However, to be completely sure you should refer to the closest museum of antiquities.
