Hello I am writing because my class just read the trajedy Oedipus Rex.  My teacher is encouraging us to find other literature, television and/or movies that allude to this play.  We also read The Allegory of the Cave by Plato and she had the same ideas for that.  
An example of an allusion to Oedipus would be the song "The End" that Jim Morrison wrote partly about Oedipus.
If you have seen or know of any songs, books, or movies that talk about Oedipus or The Allegory, please tell me because my teacher and I would really appreciate it.
