Ancient/Classical History/Roman crucifixion

Question
Hi, I'm looking for information about the measures of the roman cross (Like the one they used to crucified Jesus). So if you could answer me that question or provide me with some links I could check that would be great. Thanks.

Answer
Hello,
there are no standard measures for the Roman cross: it was built with a pole fixed in the ground (2-3 meters tall) and an horizontal beam ("patibulum") that the condemned had to carry on his shoulder to the place of crucifixion.
