QuestionI want to kno who was Horatius from rome , and why was importent?
AnswerHello,
Quintus Horatius Flaccus (born 65 BC, Venusia, Italy – died 8 BC, Rome, Italy), known as Horace in English, was an outstanding Latin lyric poet and satirist under the emperor Augustus.
The most frequent themes of his Odes, Satires and verse Epistles are love, friendship, philosophy, and the art of poetry.
He is very important because his works significantly influenced Western poetry from the Renaissance through the 19th century and have exerted a major influence on English poetry.
This in short, of course.
