Question
can you tell me what a SEBASTOCRATOR is?

Answer
Sebastocrator was the title invented by byzantine emperor Alexius Comnenus (1048-1118 AD) to honour his brother Isaac: it is formed by the greek words Sebastos (=Augustus) and Autocrator (=emperor), thus meaning "noble emperor, august emperor". In later years, it also become an honorary title for byzantine governors.
