Ancient/Classical History/fall of Rome
Expert: Maria - 7/19/2004
QuestionI'm doing a paper on the fall of Rome and want to explore Rome's population and demographic changes which might have contributed to it as well as the history of the Catholic Church and what influence the Pope had. I'm trying to find a different approach, maybe downplaying its importance.
Any ideas would be welcome. I'm reading Bury, Gibbon, and Ferrill. What other authors should I include?
Thank yoin advance.
Catherine
AnswerHello Catherine,
Here's a list of other authors you could read, besides E.Gibbon, J. B.Bury and A.Ferrill.
Hope it can be helpful to you.
Have a nice day.

As for the history of the Catholic church and Pope's influence, this is NOT my field of expertise(see my profile).
