Question
How would you convert the phrase "Hide Your Heart" from Emglish to Latin?

I've been looking all over the internet for a realiable conversion and this was the first promising thing i found.

Thank You.

Answer
Hello,

the Latin  phrase for "Hide Your Heart" is the following:

"Cor cela tuum"
Or:
“Animum cela tuum”.

They both are correct, of course!

All the best,
Maria

Note that:

-Hide = CELA (2nd.person singular, imperative of the verb CELO, I hide)

-Your = TUUM ( Accusative neuter of the possessive adjective TUUS agreed with COR).

-Heart = COR (accusative neuter) or ANIMUM ( accusative of ANIMUS).

As you can see, Latin word order can be different from English as Latin  is an inflected language where syntactical relationships are indicated by the endings of each term, not by the order of the words.
