Question
Hi, i was wondering if you could translate a Shakespearean text for me, it is "Cry havoc, and let slip the dogs of war!" ever since i read this, it has been my personal quote you could say and i was wanting to know it in Latin

Answer
Hi,

I certainly could give you  a literal translation of this quotation from Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar (Act III, scene I), but it  would sound very strange in Latin where no one would have used the expression “the dogs of war”, for example.

Therefore, I’m sorry, but I don’t want to help you with this sentence which I should modify to give it a real sense in Latin.

Bye,
Maria
