Question
how do you translate "Against the darkness, we stand resolute" into latin

Answer
Hello,

Here’s the translation you need:

“Audacter adversus stamus tenebras”

Best regards,
Maria
_______________________________________
Note that:

-Against = ADVERSUS (preposition which takes the accusative)

-the darkness = TENEBRAS (Accusative of TENEBRAE, darkness)

-we stand= STAMUS (1st.person plural of  present indicative of STO)

-resolute = AUDACTER(adverb)

As you can see, Latin word order can be different from English for in Latin syntactical relationships are indicated by the endings, not by the order of the words.
