Ancient Languages/motto

QuestionI have come up with a personal motto, and would like it translated into Latin. I took a couple years of Latin in high school, but I don't trust my own efforts thus far. I was hoping you could help me out and translate "Let truth be my light." Thanks.
AnswerHello,
Here’s the translation you asked me:
-“Sit veritas lux mea”
or with a different word order:
-"Veritas lux sit mea".
Best regards,
Maria

Note that:
-Let... be = SIT (3rd.person singular, hortatory subjunctive in the present of SUM).
-Truth= VERITAS (nominative, 3rd.declension)
-my = MEA (nominative feminine of the possessive MEUS, agreed with LUX)
-light = LUX (nominative, 3rd.declension)
Latin word order can be variable as it often depends on writing style of an author. This however is not a problem as Latin declension by cases gets everyone to discern the case of a word.
