Question
The latin phrase is "from the beginning" and I believe the english word for it is ABERNISIO or at least that's what it sounds like phonetically. Can you help with the correct spelling please.

Answer
Hello,

If you want to know the correct Latin translation and spelling for the English expression “from the beginning”, please note that it is  AB  INITIO.

Best regards,
Maria
_____________________________________________________________
-From = AB (preposition which takes the ablative case)

-the beginning = INITIO (ablative case of INITIUM , neuter noun belonging to the 2nd.declension)

As for  ABERNISIO, it  does not exist in Latin and then it is absolutely wrong, though it can sound quite like AB INITIO  phonetically, at least!
