Question
Can you possibly translate this motto " spea anchora vitae" i'm quite sure of the spelling, although not a 100%

Answer
Hello,

The correct Latin motto is “Spes ancora vitae”  which means “Hope is the anchor of life”, just denoting that hope can be a source of security or stability.

See below for grammatical analysis.

All the best,
Maria

Note that:

SPES (not ‘spea’ which does not exist in Latin) = hope

ANCORA ( the variant ANCHORA is rare in Latin) = the anchor

VITAE  (genitive case of VITA, 1st.declension) = of life

Note that in English I’ve added “is” corresponding to Latin EST (from SUM, I am) which is understood in the Latin phrase.
