Question
Please translate "I came; I signed; I consumed" into Latin.
Thank you,
KD

Answer
Hello,

I am sorry, but I don’t want to translate such a parody of “Veni, vidi, vici”(I came, I saw, I conquered), i.e. the lapidary phrase Caius Julius Caesar is said to have written to Roman Senate after he defeated  at the first assault  king Pharnaces in the battle of Zela (Asia Minor-today Turkey) in 47 BC.

Moreover, it’s not clear the sense of ”I signed” and “I consumed” and then it would be impossible to translate them correctly into Latin: what did you sign? What did you consume?

Regards,
Maria
