Question
Hello.  I wish to have a proper translation of the phrase, "Love is stronger than Death." into Latin.  Thank you.  I was told that a human translator would be more accurate than the online translators.

Answer
Hello,

Here’s a correct Latin translation of “Love is stronger than Death”:

-"Morte est Amor fortior".

See below for grammatical analysis.

Best regards,
Maria
__________________________________________________
Note that:

-Love = AMOR (subject in the nominative case, 3rd.declension)

-is = EST (from SUM, I am)

-stronger = FORTIOR (comparative of the adjective FORTIS, agreed with AMOR)

-than Death = MORTE (ablative of comparison of MORS, 3rd.declension)

As you can see, Latin word order is different from English just because in Latin syntactical relationships are indicated by the endings, not by the order of the words.
