Question
Hello Maria,
i was hoping you would be able to translate a sentence for me from English to Latin. My Great Grandmother just passed away and there is something that i want on her head stone:
"you are all that is love"
she used to say it to all us grand and great grand kids and i don't know how to properly spell it in the Latin phrase. (and its something id really hate to be off on)

could you please help,

Tenneil

Answer
Hello,

First of all please accept my  condolences upon the death of  your Great-Grandmother.

As for the phrase  "You are all that is love", here’s the correct Latin translation:

-“Noster es amor  deliciaeque”, if you want this inscription to mean that your Great –Grandmother is “all that is love “, i.e. she means a lot to all you.

If on the contrary you want this inscription related to yourself only, without any reference to other grandchildren, you must say:

-“Meus es amor deliciaeque”.

All the best,
Maria
