Question
how would you write 'my guardian is always with me'?
Many Thanks
Georgina.

Answer
Hello,

here’s the translation you asked me:

“Semper mecum meus est custos“

Have a nice day,
Maria
_______________________________________________-
Note that:

-my = MEUS (nominative masculine agreed with CUSTOS)

-guardian = CUSTOS (nominative, 3rd.declension)

-is = EST (from SUM, I am)

-always = SEMPER

-with me = MECUM

As you can see, Latin word order is different from English, just because in Latin syntactical relationships are indicated by the endings, not by the order of the words
