Question
This may seem like a odd request, but what would be the Latin for "Black Templars"?

Many Thanks
-Tengu

Answer
Hello,

“Black Templars” can be translated into Latin as “Nigri Templares” or “Atri Templares” where NIGRI or  ATRI mean “Black”, while TEMPLARES means “Templars”.

Bye,
Maria

Note that:

-Black  = NIGRI (nominative masculine plural of the adjective NIGER)  / ATRI (nominative masculine plural of the  adjective ATER)

-Templars = TEMPLARES (nominative masculine plural of  TEMPLARIS).

Note that the above translation is in late Latin, simply because in classical Latin the Templars did not exist at all, of course, since the  Order of the Knights Templar, aka Templars, was founded in the early 1100s, after the First Crusade captured Jerusalem in 1099
