Question
This is about a relic of a saint in a round case...;I would
appreciate a translation of
ex aurichalco deargentato, filo serico rubri coloris clausa
et Nostri muneris sigillo munita, collasse.
Thank you.

Answer
Hello,

The words related to this round case are in Medieval Latin  and translate as follows:

“[Reliquary] made of gold and silver, closed by a red silk thread and certified by the seal of Our office”.

The only one word which is obscure is the last term “collasse” which does not exist in Latin.
Are you sure that this is its spelling?
Anyway I  believe that such a misspelt word  should mean “reliquary” and it is at the end of the phrase, according to  Latin word order which is different from English.

Best regards,
Maria
