Question
I would like to know that latin translation for the following phrase please
" The fates will find a way"

Thank you so much!

Jacqueline

Answer
Hello,

"The fates will find a way" is nothing but the English translation of a quotation from Virgil’s Aeneid, book X, line 113, where we read :

“Fata viam invenient“.

Best regards,
Maria
________________________________________
Note that :

-FATA (nominative neuter plural of FATUM, 2nd.declension) = The Fates

-VIAM (direct object,accusative of VIA, 1st.declension) = a way

-INVENIENT (3rd.person plural, future of INVENIO, I find) = will find

As you can see, Latin word order can be different from English. In Latin in fact syntactical relationships are indicated by the inflexional endings, not by the order of the words.
