Ancient Languages - psuedo latin

Expert: Maria - 7/3/2009

Question
hello, I'd be just grateful if you would help me with the translation of these phrases (they are in psuedo latin):
ameno;divano ;sami e ;cari me

Answer
Hello,

Actually the words you mention, i.e.  “ameno”(pleasant),”divano” (sofa), “cari” (dear) are not Latin nor pseudo-Latin, but Italian, while  “sami” is unknown to me.

As for the translation of these  words into Latin, it is impossible, since it would need to know the context where they are, just because Latin, a an inflected language,  uses different terms with different endings, according to the context.

Regards,
Maria
