Question
Hello Maria.  Thank you so much for your gift of translation!  I enjoy your analysis very much.

Would you please translate "loved of God" or "greatly loved of God".  I am composing a name that I hope reflects the treasured position of a Christian.  Your assistance is valuable!
Thank you!

Answer
Hello,

“Loved of God” translates as follows:

-“Deo carus” or “Deo dilectus”, if “loved” refers to a subject which is a male person in the singular.
-“Deo cara”  or  “Deo dilecta”, if “loved” refers to a subject which is a female person in the singular.
-“Deo cari”  or  “Deo dilecti”, if “loved” refers to a subject which is a male person in the plural
-“Deo carae” or “Deo dilectae”, if “loved” refers to a subject which is a female person in the plural.

As for “"greatly loved of God", you can say:

-“Deo carissimus” or “Deo dilectissimus”, if “ greatly loved” refers to a subject which is a male person in the singular.
-“Deo carissima” or “Deo dilectissima”, if “greatly  loved” refers to a subject which is a female person in the singular.
-“Deo carissimi” or “Deo dilectissimi”, if “greatly  loved” refers to a subject which is a male person in the plural.
-“Deo carissimae” or “Deo dilectissimae”, if “greatly  loved” refers to a subject which is a female person in the plural.

Latin is in fact an inflected language where the words change  endings according to the role they play in a sentence.

Have a nice day,
Maria
