Question
hi maria ,can you please translate to latin and gree the
following:

seraphim, cherubim, archangel, and the phrase "seize your
dream"

Thank you

Answer
Hello,

-“Seraphim” (plural of “seraph”)  translates as “Seraphin” in ecclesiastical Latin [where it indicates the first of the nine orders of angels], and as “Σεραφὶμ” (Greek letters), i.e. “Seraphím” (transliteration)in late Greek.

-"Cherubim" (plural of “Cherub”) translates as “Cherubim” in ecclesiastical Latin [where it indicates the second of the Nine Orders of Angels], and as “Χέρουβιμ”(Greek alphabet), i.e. “Chérubim” (transliteration)in late Greek.
Note that English uses the Latin noun.

-“Archangel“ (nominative singular) translates as “Archangelus” in ecclesiastical Latin [where it indicates the eighth of the nine orders of angels], and as “arkhángelos” / “ἀρχάγγελος “  in late Greek.

As for  the phrase "Seize your  dream", it is “Tuum carpe somnium” in Latin, and “Σόν  λάμβανε  ὄναρ “ (Greek letters) , i.e. “Sòn   lámbane ónar” (transliteration)in ancient Greek.

Best regards,
Maria
