Question

Roberts coat of arms
I see the meaning to these words, I'm told that this saying is , or is suppose to be on my family "Coat of Arms", ROBERTS, originating in Whales. My question is is this true, I can't find it anywhere, can you help me?

Answer
Hello,

If you want to know the translation of the Latin motto “Dum Spiro Spero”, here it is:

-"While I breathe, I hope", i.e. “As long as I live (breathe), I hope”.

With regard to your question about this motto being on your family coat of arms, I'm sorry, but I cannot help you, for heraldry is not my field of expertise, of course.

So you should ask an expert in that area.

Good luck!
Maria
