MO . NO . COM . HOLLANDIAE and CONFID ENTES VIGILA TEDEO that appears on the 1601 RoosSchelling coin shown at

and translate it as has been done for Leeuwen Daalder at
http://coins.lakdiva.org/netherlands/1644_wes_lion_daalder_ag.html

The abbreviated Latin legends  MO. NO. COM. HOLLANDIAE (obverse) and CONFID ENTES VIGILA TEDEO (reverse) that appear on the 1601 RoosSchelling coin may be transcribed as follows:

-MONETA   NOVA COMITATUS  HOLLANDIAE  meaning “New coin of the county of Holland”
-CONFIDENTES VIGILATE DEO meaning “Be alert, you all who trust in God).

-MONETA (nominative, feminine noun, 1st.declension)= coin

-NOVA (nominative feminine of the adjective NOVUS agreed with MONETA) = new

-COMITATUS (genitive of a noun belonging to the 4th.declension) = of the county

-HOLLANDIAE  (genitive of HOLLANDIA, 1st.declension) = of Holland

-CONFIDENTES (vocative, present participle of the verb CONFIDO, I trust) = you all who trust

-VIGILATE ( 2nd.person plural, imperative of the verb VIGILO, I am alert) = be alert
