Question
My Dad always said our family motto was "Lovers, not Fighters"  It fits.  I wanted to incorporate a Latin version into a made-up coat of arms for the family history.

Thanks and best wishes,

Doug

Answer
Hello,

"Lovers, not Fighters"  can be translated as follows:

-“Amatores, non Bellatores”.
Or:
-“Amatores, non Pugnatores”.

Hope this can be helpful to you.
Best regards,
Maria
