Ancient Languages/latin translation

Question
Is "sum nihil" correctly translated to English as "I am nothing" or is there a more accurate Latin translation for this English phrase?

Thanks,
Kevin

Answer
Hello,

The best Latin sentence for “I am nothing” is “Nihil sum” whose word order is different from  “Sum nihil” that however is grammatically correct, but stylistically inappropriate.

Also, you can say: “Nihil valeo” (literally, “I am worth nothing”) .

Best regards,
Maria
