Question
Hi,
I was wondering if you could help me with a couple of translations? I'm looking at getting a tattoo in latin, and I'd like to have the correct spelling, punctuation, etc?

Thank you!

Memento mori,
memento vivere,
amor fati,
amor nec metu,
fac fortia et patere,
amor Deo et familias et patriae.

The second:

Pater noster, qui es in caelis:
   sanctificetur Nomen Tuum;
   adveniat Regnum Tuum;
   fiat voluntas Tua,
   sicut in caelo, et in terra.
   Panem nostrum cotidianum da nobis hodie;
   et dimitte nobis debita nostra,
   sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris;
   et ne nos inducas in tentationem;
   sed libera nos a Malo

Answer
Unfortunately you did not pay attention to what I wrote in my ‘Instructions to Questioner’ which appear on your "Ask a question page”.

There I wrote expressly: “No homework questions please NOR TATTOOS”.

So, I’m sorry, but I have to reject this question as I really I do not like the dangerous practice of tattooing and then, as a volunteer expert of a 100% FREE site, where I receive no fee, I obviously can choose to decline translating any phrase / word for this purpose.

Anyway you can to “Vivat Latina!” at www.traditio.com/latin.htm where you can find a translation service at minimal fees.

The only thing I can tell you is that in "amor nec metu" and "amor Deo et familias et patriae"  there are some grammatical mistakes.

Bye,
Maria
