Question
I need the english to latin translation for the phrase, "Golden Rule".  I have croceus regnum and regula aurea.  Don't know if any of those are correct.  Can you give me the correct latin translation for the phrase - "Golden Rule"?  Thank you.

Answer
Hello,

“Golden Rule” translates correctly as “Aurea regula” where AUREA (golden) is the nominative feminine of the adjective AUREUS agreed with the feminine noun REGULA (rule).

As for “croceus regnum”, I am sorry, but it is grammatically and lexically wrong as it would mean “Yellow kingdom” which has nothing to do with “Golden rule”, of course!

Best regards,
Maria
