Question
Hello,

I would like to have the latin translation of the 3 words ;

Speed
Aggression
Surprise

It is for a slogan in a logo.

thx

Answer

Hello,

Here are the translations you asked me:

-“Speed “= “Velocitas” or  “Celeritas”. Also, “Festinatio”  as “ a hurry”,”haste”.

-“Aggression” = “Aggressio”  or “Incursio” .

-“Surprise” = “Admiratio” as “astonishment”, but “Impetus”,  if  the English noun “surprise” means “sudden attack/assault”.

Please note that all the above-mentioned Latin nouns are in the nominative case as a subject of a phrase or a logo.

Latin is in fact an inflected language [with five declensions and six cases]  where the nouns change ending according to their role in a sentence (subject, direct object, indirect object).

Best regards,
Maria
