Question
Hiya could you tell me the latin phrase for 'for those that I love'
Ive seen 'Illis quos amo' and 'Eis quos amo' but which one is right?! Thanks

Answer
Hello,

both "Illis quos amo" and "Eis quos amo" or "Iis quos amo" are correct.
In fact, both “illis” (dative plural of the nominative pronoun “ille”) and “eis”/"iis" (dative plural of the nominative pronoun “is”) mean the same, i.e. “For those”.

Best regards,
Maria
