Question
Hello Maria,

I was hoping you could translate a poem into greek for me. It is my favorite poem from the movie "The Grey". I thought about using Google translate, however the syntax is not always correct.

Once more into the fray...
Into the last good fight I'll ever know...
Live and die on this day...
Live and die on this day...

Thank you for your time!

Answer
Hello,

Here’s the correct translation you are looking for:

Ἒτι καὶ νῦν  ἐν  ἀγῶνι…
Ἐν  τῷ  τελευταίῳ τῷ  ἐμῷ ἀγῶνι ..
Zῆ καὶ θνῇσκε σήμερον..
Zῆ καὶ θνῇσκε σήμερον..

It is in Ancient Greek,of course, since Ancient Greek Language is just my field of expertise (view my profile), not in Modern Greek,  which is different from Ancient Greek either in spelling/meaning or in pronunciation.

So, if you want this poem to be translated into Modern Greek, you must go to the category GREEK at http://www.allexperts.com/el/Greek/

Hope this can be helpful to you.

Best regards,

Maria
