Question
Hi ,

I was wondering if it would be possible to translate the Phrase 'A Subtle voice' into latin, it is a phrase I would like to consider using as the title of an artwork,

thank you very much.

Answer
Hi,

The phrase 'A Subtle voice' can be translated into Latin:

1-“Tenuis vox” , if ‘subtle' means ‘slight', ‘delicate'.

2-“Falsa vox”, if “A subtle voice' means ‘a falsetto voice'.

3-« Lenis vox » or “Vox suavis”, if ‘subtle' means ‘soft', ‘gentle'.

4-« Vox gracilis «  or  simply « Vocula » without the adjective,  if ‘subtle' means ‘weak, feeble, faint'.

5” Vox subtilis”, if ‘subtle' means ‘thin'.

Best regards
Maria
