Question
Hey I was wondering if you could translate the following statement from English to ancient Latin.  " In God I Trust."

Answer
Hello,

The phrase “In God I trust” can be translated as follows:

-“Deo   confido”(classical Latin)
or:
-“In Deo   confido”(ecclesiastical Latin)

Best regards,
Maria

NOTA BENE

-DEO (IN DEO) = in God
-CONFIDO= I trust

Please note that the only one difference between these translations is that in  classical Latin we must use the Dative (DEO) as in classical Latin  the verb CONFIDO takes the dative case, while in ecclesiastical Latin we can use the ablative(DEO) +  the preposition IN.
