can you please translate "God only knows"
I reseacrhed and came up with "Deus solum nosce" its probably incorrect help please

Answer
Hello Chris,

Some days ago ( 7/21/06) you have already ask me  this question and I’ve sent you my answer the same day (7/21/06). Did not you receive it? Anyway, I’ll repeat the answer I sent you and hope you receive it this time.

The correct translation of the phrase "God only knows"  is : “Deus solum noscit”.

In fact DEUS is ‘God’; SOLUM is ‘only’; NOSCIT (present indicative, 3rd.pers.sing.of NOSCO, I know) is ‘knows’.

Best regards,
Maria
