Question
How do you say "so that I love and cherish" in Latin?

Answer
Hello,

If “so that I love and cherish” is a purpose clause, here’s its translation:

"Ut amem et diligam".
or :
"Ad amandum et diligendum".

Latin in fact can use the subjunctive + ut (see the 1st.phrase) or  the gerund + ad (see the 2nd. Phrase) to express purpose.

Best,
Maria
