Question
How do I say shut up in Latin?

Answer
Hello,

in Latin “Shut up!” as 'Stop speaking!' translates as follows:

-“Tace!” or "Sile!"( 2nd.person singular, imperative of the verbs TACEO / SILEO) , if you are addressing to only one person.

-“Tacete!” or "Silete!"( 2nd.person plural, imperative of TACEO /SILEO), if you are addressing to two or more persons.

Have a nice day,
Maria
