I am extremely unfamiliar with the Latin language but I find it greatly interesting and beautiful. I need help trying to translate a phrase I was considering getting tattoed.

"never forget"

I was also wondering if the latin writen language has different symbols for there letters.

Answer
Hello Mary,

"never forget" is in Latin:

“Noli umquam oblivisci”

As for the Latin written language, it has no different symbols for the letters(see below).

NOTA BENE
1-Please note that:
Never=NOLI  UMQUAM
Forget=  OBLIVISCI

2-The Latin alphabet, which dates back to the 8th.century BC. and spread from Italy to other peoples, is in fact the most widely used alphabetic writing system in the world, the standard script of the English language and most of the languages of western and central  Europe, and of those areas settled by Europeans. Moreover it became the standard script for a number of non-European languages as well.
The other alphabets used in Eastern Europe are the Greek in Greece and the Cyrillic in Russia, for example.
